PKR Poker
PKR is one of the hottest new online poker rooms on the Internet today! Their Beta version was met with fabulous reviews in June, 2006, followed by the exciting software release to the general public in August. The president and founder of the online poker room, Jez San, having spent years playing live poker with friends, personally found online poker lacking when compared to live games, he set out to change this with the new PKR.Com software.
That thought in mind, San set out to change the way online poker was played, bringing it light years closer to the game of poker that is played live, while sitting across from your opponents. Adding the features the poker room is quickly becoming famous for, including the most exciting element, 3D Graphics.
Internet Poker players playing at this very new online poker site have the ability to create their own personality in all aspects of the game. Even the avatars are customizable. The poker player creates every aspect of their own avatar, including their hair style, facial features, cloths, and many other attributes.
Once at the poker table, users are able to ‘cry’, clap, etc. Adding a bit more personality to what has thus far been a flat screen game. In addition, players can change the camera angle, and view the poker tables from whichever angle best suites them.
In keeping with reality, the more you play at PKR, the more you learn. Advanced players will ‘learn’ how to perform tricks with their chips as they gain experience at the poker table. After all, we weren’t born knowing how to shuffle the chips at the poker table were we? They recently released an update which now makes their software multi-tabling friendly.
